What's in your stash so far?
What else do you plan on adding?
We have about 24 kissaluv 0's, 2 Righteous Baby FLAM's that I love, and one FCB 0. Prorap covers are only nb ones, I think. Some infant prefolds for spares. Oh, and I also got 4 or 5 BumGenius AIO's from a friend Probably won't add anything else this time around, but will likely get more stuff in the size 1 range. (Oh, these are our nb dipes...I have lots of others...lol...but coudln't remember then all off the top my head, this is our third baby so lots of stuff has been tried lol)

How many dozen prefolds do you think it appropriate. I keep thinking I need more.
I have 3 dozen each preemie, infant, and premium prefolds, 3 dozen wipes, and 8 newborn Dappi nylon pants. This is stuff we've had from ds. I'll get some new pins and a couple Snappis.

By June we'll have 6 -8 small wool soakers, and hopefully be starting a couple medium soakers and a bunch of longies too. My ds grew out of newborn sizes in 2 weeks, so we're not going to bother with nice covers for that stage.

OP, for full time diapering with an every other day wash routine I think 3 dozen total is a good number.

I'm waiting for us to have our own space to go through my stash and see where I need to add. It will probably be a few covers and prefolds, but who knows!

Ds is still in med. Has been since 5 months old. We are trying to PL. We used kissaluvs last time when ds was born, but I hated them and they held nothing. Smalls didn't fit ds until he was 6 weeks old, but a good fit at 8 weeks. So this time I am going to go with prefolds and covers. Once we hit smalls, which I already have, we will go to pockets/AIOS. I bought preemie because I am expecting another small baby. Ds was 5'10" at birth. (born on his due date) Woman in my family just always have small babies. I would love a whole stash of VB xsmall, but that's too much money for such a short time span.

OH and I am trying to get someone to run a co-op here for prefolds and diapers. There is interest, but no one to run it yet.

pfs and dappi pull on covers...been cding for over four years, tried everything there is to try, but pfs and dappis are the only way to go for us!!!!

i have a dozen infants already, but i'll get two dozen more by the time he's born. probably eight covers, maybe more...dappi's are $5 for two,so it's not like I'll spend a lot!

i get the cloth-eze from www.greenmountaindiapers.com I like the size of 'em better than dsq or cpf.

I suppose I should go through my stash sometime soon and figure out what I need! I'm basically starting from scratch with this baby because after four kids our diapers are disintigrating! I did get some diapers from friends and had a few small diapers that didn't get much use - I just need to see if it will be enough!

I have a bunch of random stuff that I've collected over the past couple of months, mostly from craigslist.
I have 12 small crickett's, a bunch of prefolds, 18 small Sandy's, some WAHM wraps, some proraps, some Niji wool covers, one artistocrats wool cover, three "grateful buns" wool covers (these are sooo cute!), one fuzzibunz, some Under the Nile contours & some other contours, a diaper pail, lots of fleece & flannel wipes & a couple WAHM AIO's...oh & a bunch of kushies (that I got for free, don't know how good they are~ I haven't heard that they're that great)...and last weekend I got a huge bag of big prefolds (blue edged) and "Ivy Rose" fleece diapers (these look nice) & 5 Bumpy covers for FREE...(!)
I'm just going to try everything & whatever doesn't work for us, I'll pass along to someone else : ) Also, have some G-diapers someone gave me.
I am going to order a smapler pack of pocket diapers to try & I need a liner for the pail & maybe a sprayer for the toliet?

I'm glad I read this post and went through my stash, because I thought I had a couple dozen prefolds but I can't find them anywhere! Eeek! I do have 19 assorted fitteds, various covers, 3 pair of wool longies, and a couple wool soakers. I'll definitely be going through closets soon looking to see if I still have those prefolds!

I have a bunch of KL0s, a few bamboo fitteds, a few wool covers, and a bunch of pul-type covers.

At this point I feel like we're done with our nb/sm stash, unless the KL0s really suck (but I am sure they'll be fine). I've registered for some medium stuff so that's what we'll be focusing on, although I don't want to buy much more until we've tried this out a bit and get a sense for what works for our baby. So for now - we're not buying anything else! :

I have 18 infant prefolds, 8 covers. 4 pocket diapers, some homemade "diapers" DHs grandparents made for his cousin but were never used. They look as absorbant as leaves and I won't use them.
After the baby is out of the infant stage I"ll get some onesize ones that I've posted here before. My friend has them and swears by them. I've seen them in action and I think they will be wonderful. Depending how we like the pocket diapers we may get some of those too, but I don't really like them right now. They just seem like extra work, and I don't want velcro.

we've got preemie prefolds and a few preemie aio's if we need them this time. dd was born early at 5 lbs then dropped to 4 and a half pounds. so, we used those in the very first few weeks a lot. it'd be nice if this baby stayed in a bit longer and weighed a bit more!

we've got a few aio's and lots of prefolds in various sizes. we have some contours and a few kissaluvs. we use soakers knitted by my mom and prowraps, mainly. a friend due in three weeks has my newborn stash so i don't remember all of it. looking forward to using those dipes, again though. they are like little dollar signs that i don't have to spend, again. yay!!!
We've got our Kissaluvs 0 dipes left from ds2, so we'll be re-using those. I've also bought several fuzzibunz smalls to begin using once babe is big enough, and our mediums are already covered because that's what ds2 is wearing now...and has been wearing for the last 20 months...isn't that amazing?!

Since we don't really need anything new, I'm planning to make 2-3 sets of longies.
I am making most of this lil ones stash. I make them smalls, not NB or mediums because I am assuming that this one will be a 10 lb chunk like e who never fit in NB stuff or most smalls. I make fitteds that you close with a snappi. I am going to get GN interlock shorties so I can use babylegs with them and I am stalking flugelhemdchen on german ebay for the shirts. We started CDing e when he was 8 monthes and he has been in larges the whole time so I am real excited about newborn fluff! I just got the one load of fluff mail that I am buying, used of coarse, 6 one size sammy one sizes and a one size all velour swaddlebee with a conture, everything else is all me!

Namasteplatypus, you can't write a post like that without providing a link to the shirts, it's not cool I'm a big fan of nippa-fastened fitteds, btw, I : my Totsbots.
What we have is 40 prefolds and accompanying newborn sized wraps, 15 size 2 (therefore birth-potty) tots, three big night nappies and some large wraps, but I need new small wraps. I'm also going to need some new tots, if Skye isn't out of nappies by April, so I'll probably buy another dozen or so. I might get more Baby Beehinds (do you get those over there? They really are amazing....soft AND absorbent )

Oh, I don't even know what I have...

I think I have 2 dozen new infant prefolds from the last prefold co-op (I was way planning ahead, before even getting pregnant, with the excuse that I could use them for other things).

I also have between 2-3 dozen other infant prefolds. Some are Gerber, some are random birdseye, others are DSQ. I got those used with dd1, so I think they've been through at least 4 kids by now (the woman I got them from had 3 kids, I think), They're still useful, but some have holes.

I also have 2 dozen organic color-grown prefolds in regular size. I think one dozen are premiums in birdseye weave, and the other dozen are regulars in twill weave. Those are also mostly new. I used some of them a couple time with dd2, but they are still very new.

I also have maybe 3-4 newborn fitteds that I made.

A bunch of random covers, from memory:
Newborn size Bummis SWW
Size Small Bummis Super Snap
Unknown WAHM newborn wool wrap
Size 1 BBH wool cover with a SWEET cherry applique
Small Babykins nylon cover
2 Small Alexis Featherlight Nylon covers
Some other plasticy newborn wrap

I need more covers. Nicer ones. I wouldn't mind some fitteds either, but only if I have extra $$$.

We're going to try ECing, but not diaper free. And unfortunately I donated my entire stash to Miracle Diapers after dd was done since we thought she was our last. So I'm starting from scratch. Since we will be ECing, I think I'll just go for prefolds and a really basic cover. I'm going to get some premie ones this time because my other two kids were so small that they couldn't even use any of the dipes I had until they were about a month and a half old!

I have no idea what's here, nor what's at my mom's house... I know that we need small (as opposed to newborn) covers, because we didn't have enough for Bella... and I know that we need mediums, because we *currently*don't have enough for Bella. BeanBean learned out of mediums, and BooBah only wore larges at night (when I needed to cram as much stuff as possible into her covers because she literally peed buckets), so I've got no reason to believe that Bella or Seamonkey will ever really need a large...

I've probably got two or three dozen newborn prefolds... but because I'll have two in diapers (unless Bella morphs into a different child in the next three months ), we'll be doing a load of diapers every day anyway.

You know something weird? What I look forward to most is being able to mail the little tiny diapers to someone as a Holiday Helper next year, secure in the knowledge that I won't need them anymore.
