non-toxic paint stripper

hi all!
has anyone found a good, non-toxic paint stripper? my kitchen cabinets are beautful lacquered pine with this god-awful dark dark brown paint on top .

Hi, Dh suggests using a heat gun and putty knife. He said there will still be some fumes but as long as the paint isn't lead based it's not bad. It's a lot less toxic than paint strippers. He recommends taking the doors off and doing them outside. HTH! Laura
