Best pouch style sling?

Hello everyone! I'm new to AP, as my first baby is 4 months old. He is a EBF, co sleeper, who I plan on homeschooling when the time comes. Anyway, my question is what is the best pouch style sling? I do not own any slings currently, because I'm unsure of what kind would be best for me. I am a plus size momma (around a size 22 now, but normally an 18/20), and I live in florida, where it's hot and humid most of the time. I would like some ideas as to what would be best for me. I was interested in the KangarooKorner pouches, but heard the fleece was better, (verses the cotton) but am concerned it would be too warm. Anyone have one of these? If so how do you like them?

I just got the cotton one from KK. I do like the fleece better, b/c it's softer and a bit more flexible, but the cotton one seems nice too, and is certainly more comfortable during the summer.

I have an OTSBH, not a pouch-style I know but ds much prefers it to our fleece pouch. I ordered a fleece pouch because it looked so cozy for the babe but ds doesn't like to be in it. The bottom part seems to dig into his legs alot. I emailed tanya from kangarookorner about this but she said she's never had this complaint from anyone before . Anyway ds much prefers the OTSBH tho I haven't given up on the pouch and when the weather gets cooler I'll be trying it out again. HTH

Pea in the Pod by http://www.mom-and-me-creations.com its an adjustable hemp/cotton pouch I love mine. She can add rails on the top (for ease of nursing) or the bottom to help with leg comfort. For nice mom to work with, fast and friendly. I highly recommend her products

I just made my own (so easy!!!) I just used a t-shirt like material that I got at Wal-mart. I used about 2 yds, but you might need to use 3 yds. You would have to experiment a little. Anyway, the material comes folded in half, and I sewed it together on the long side, so that it would be 2 yrds x 30 inches or so. Then I just sewed the ends together, making a wonderful pouch. It is stretchy so it doesn't dig into my babe and it is very flexible. Dd loves it! Hope this helps you.
P.S. I would be willing to make you one. Just email me if interested. allymarie@prodigy.net
