> Tell us about your diaper stash!
Ooooohh.... my diaper stash..... my terrible, terrible addiction...
I started months ago, because of this argument: I knew I wanted to cloth diaper, but I was afraid of the expense of buying a whole stash... so I thought I would buy one or two diapers a month until the baby came. But... when I saw how cute one or two diapers was... I began stalking TP and DS multiple times a day-- it's what got me out of bed some mornings!!! I now have something like 50 newborn size fitteds! I don't know how it would even be possible for them all to be used, especially since there's a history of big babies in my family.

: But I love them so! I spread them out on the floor to admire. I make all visitors to the house admire. People don't seem to share my infatuation, but I make them admire anyway!
>Do you have a name picked out for your little girl?
I do. We actually picked it out about 2 years ago; my boys name was chosen 10 years ago, and it was just a matter of seeing which one this baby was. However, I do not like telling people the name, as I am afraid of it becoming too popular... I'm not sure why I think it'll make a difference, but I've actually noticed a couple of people on MDC who have chosen the same name and have the same fear. It is very unfortunate that a famous person recently stole the name from us.

:
>What do you do?
Eh. That's the only other thing I don't like to talk about. Suffice it to say that it's something I had to go to grad school for, but that neither at the time of choosing the profession, nor now 6 years later, do I consider it fulfilling or a calling. I'd like to just be in school forever, I think.
> What did you think when you first started feeling your baby moving? How many weeks along were you?
I started waiting for movements at 16 weeks. I'm not really sure when the first *actual* movements began, as opposed to the *imagined* movements that were probably stomach rumblings. But even with the imagined ones, I was just insanely proud. I like to say that she is a very good baby.

: Does everything a 6-month old womb-dweller is supposed to, and does it very considerate-ly.
>What are your birth plans?
Um, pending? I have a wonderful midwife whom I love. Unfortunately, the hospital where she had privileges just closed, so it's a bit up in the air where I will deliver. A few months ago I would have said that I was going to have a hospital water birth. Now I'm *hoping* to have a hospital water birth; it depends on where she/I end up, and what they allow... The best case scenerio hospital has really good showers, and they're hoping they can convince them to allow tubs. When I asked about the "worst case scenerio" hospital, the one they are using as a fallback, I was told, "well, you'll get to have your baby..."
