The BH ctx have started and it's sooo annoying : I had them rarely during my first pregnancy, but this time around I'm having them everyday....*sigh*

Anyone else in the club?

hate to say it, but they're not as bad with #3! of course, i'm sure that'll change as i get closer to my dd, but right now, i only have a couple at night. yeah! something is going well for me!

I have them all of the time. They aren't annoying. I guess they're really mild. I do get the occasional one which takes my breath away with it's intensity, but still not painful or irritating. Mostly they just feel like some pressure and I become hyper aware of my uterus.

Hey, me too! The last few nights they've been comin' 'round. The first night I was so impatient with my dc's getting to sleep and at about the same time I was getting all crampy and tight, I thought it was stress, but the next night it happened again when everything was cool and laid back again, and then again the next night. Now I am getting excited, a few days ago 14 weeks seemed so far away, but now I feel I'm getting somewhere, yay!

I get them too, especially if I am bending and lifting or when I am out walking and go up a hill. So, I am thinking come Feb. I will be taking lots of long hilly walks!

I've been in the club since 12 weeks! Does that make me president? I get them all the time, too. I almost don't notice them anymore.

Pregnancy #5 here, but only #4 to make it to 28 weeks. I'm definitely getting the BH ctx but right now I find them enjoyable rather than painful. That may change. I honestly don't remember if it happened that way with ds or the girls.

I have had them coming frequently enough to be a bit alarming if I didn't drink enough fluids, but that's easy enough to fix and I can still get away with deliberately dehydrating myself once in awhile for work (so I don't have to pee too much) but I am using mama cloth now, at least until I'm SURE I'm over this flu enough not to cough.

:

It's not bad at all, though; nowhere near what I was expecting or even what I remember from my first pregnancy to go to term.

Sure! Mine are uncomfortable but not painful. I makes sitting incredibly uncomfortable. *sigh* so now I have trouble sitting AND sleeping:

Just had my first today after busting my ass for about three hours. As soon as I sat down I felt that tightness down low and move up. WOW it is scary to think that we are getting so close. After the christmas tree is down I am 6 weeks out :

bs"d

Yeah, I've been having them since sometime in the first trimester. They don't generally bother me.

Mine just moved up a gear I'm starting to lose confidence: I went through hell on earth with prodromal labour and BX that were strong, painful and regular last time and I can't face another month of my life like that. And yes, I mean a month: went into labour on October 30th, baby was born on the 26th November.

Flapjack you're scaring me....

I'm in. They're the worst when I'm riding the bus but they're still not that bad. Will they get worse?

Dea, months like that are few and far between, and the chances are that you're just going to have a nice, smooth, easy birth. If not, buy a TENS machine.

Moms of many, read this and then join me in a gibbering retching heap on the birth ball.... We're doomed, we're all doomed. RRL, anyone????

I've been mainly lurking here sorry.. But I am having these and way worse this time than last time. Last time they were frequent but not at all painful or even that irritating. This time they are both which scares me. ANd I think I have a touch of the flu coming on and high stomach pains (thanks to DD who had this last weeK) and its making them worse plus the stomach cramps. UG!! And FLapjack I had that long horrid month long prodomal (Sp??) labor too. and It does suck it really really does. I have to just keep in my mind it can happen and just right now sy that will be okay. I will be okay.
