I seem to have an intolerance/allergy to rice, of all things.
Not related, my DD has had terrible difficulty with sleep and chronic loose stools for the last 4 mths or so, and I want to try an elimination diet to see if that helps her. We are still breastfeeding, so I know I need to do the diet, too. She is almost 3.
Although I have a rice intolerance/allergy, it doesn't bother me too much (it just basically comes out in the same form it went in). I want to do the TED (we already tried dairy alone and that didn't help) and I'm wondering if I eat rice, knowing I have issues with it, will that in any way affect my DD? I'm pretty sure she is okay to eat rice herself as I have never seen any issue with her - but I'm wondering if I'm eating something that produces IgG antibodies will that affect her or is it only if she is also allergic?
Also, is basmati rice okay or does it have to be white rice?
