Lightest wt fleece for AIO?

I have a cut of malden mills fleece that I ordered over two years ago and just found it again, but I'm not sure what kind it is. It's not microfleece, but it's not the windpro either. I think it might be the 100 or 200 wt (I got it from A Cut Above, but like I said it was 2 years ago.)

Would it still be ok to make an AIO out of?

Also, how do you tell the "right" and "wrong" side of fleece? I know there's someting about stretching it and which side it rolls in on, but I can't remember which is which side.

TIA!

If you pull the selvedge, it rolls to the "right" side of the fabric. If you don't have a selvedge edge, it really doesn't matter which side you use. If one side looks better than the other, put the good-looking side out.

If you're sure it's not microfleece, I doubt it's 100wt. IME, there's not much difference between micro and 100wt. So it's probably 200wt., which should be fine for an AIO. Just keep in mind that since fleece isn't water*proof*, it's only as good as the layers underneath it

Oaky, I went and dug out the one FB I have and it is a lot thicker than microfleece on that, so if 100 wt and MF are similar, so I guess it is the 200 wt.

Thanks!
