Okay I'd better fess up. *UPDATED* with link to pics

After all my *pathetic* whining and complaining over the last few days about how I knew I'd make it to my due date despite feeling on the brink of labor all the time..

DD was born today, at home, at 12:00 noon on the dot, to "Lean on Me" weighing in at 7lb 15oz, 20 inches long. My labor lasted a whopping three hours and her apgars were 10 and 10.

I'm so relieved it's all over. I really was turning into a mean old witch. Doggone hormones. Now I'm all nice b/c of the percocet

OMG, congratulations! Goes to prove you NEVER know when that baby is going to want to come no matter how much we obsess about the WHEN.

Happy Birthday Nayfe!

After saying I'm happily staying pregnant the last few days, I'm feeling like I want to get it over with too so I can stop obsessing!

I just knew it!! Your whole presence had suddenly changed. I didn't want to ssy it out loud yet but I had a feeling this was coming.

oooooo yayyyy welcome nayfe and yayyyy mama celeste!!! you professional mama, you! whew! i'm so happy for you. what is the percoset for? tear? ...can MW's give that out? i liked that when i had megh ceserean......but too tempting for me to take regularly while i had it......enjoy that new babe. so happy for you.

Lisbeth--the percocet is for the afterpains. I just get them really bad! Yeow!

Cindy--Thank you! Her name is pronounced "NAY-fee". It's an old family name on my Dad's side of the family. It's a Lebanese name.

Gina-- Yeah we knew it was coming...I just thought that it was going to be a little more delayed in coming than it really was! I always have a "false labor" beforehand. Well...not anymore.
