still working?

*sigh* I'm due in two days, and here I am at work.

Am I the only crazy one, or are there others out there working up until the bitter end?

oh mama

I worked until my EDD. That was it, but I made it all the way to that point. So I totally feel your pain. Are you planning on taking off after your EDD even if the baby hasn't come yet? That was my deal, but mainly because I couldn't be trusted not to throw things at my coworkers if they kept asking when I would deliver AFTER my DD.

lots of and hopefully a baby in arms very very soon.

i'm still working, and will be until i go into labor, but i work from home, so i've actually been grateful for the distraction. luckily, all the questions about the baby and the birth come via email, which makes them a little easier to deal with than they would be in person.

good luck hanging in there!

W/my 1st, I worked past my EDD by about 3 days. I wasn't even in labor, but I was so grumpy & tired of people!

Hang in there or don't.

My last day of work was on friday, thankfully. I was on my feet all day and the last couple of weeks after about 2 hours into my shifts I was becoming a raging biotch. I work with a bunch of 20-something year olds and I used to joke that it was my goal to have my water break at work, to which i would get a chorus of grossed out "ewwws"

Dang, Laura! Now I can't complain about my desk job at the library! You actually did PHYSICAL work hours before you had your baby. Now I feel shame.
