possibly tmi but is anyone else thrilled to be back to normal bm after delivery? i am always SO scared to have them at first, esp because of the stitches. Dh thinks I am nuts but I can't be the only one relived to be past that part.

Yeah, it was not nearly as bad as I anticipated... and a lot better than my first post-C-section BM. Now if only I could get rid of the iron supplements and the hemorhoids....

Both this time and last time I was so scared of that first BM and both times it was not nearly as bad as I thought. Yeah!

Yeah, not really that bad except (possibly tmi) I always feel like i'm not done at the end and there's more to come out. Anyone else with that feeling?

Me too. I could not go for 2 days afterwards because I was scared, but when it did happen I was pleasantly surprised. My peri bottle helped but wiping hurt. I am now wiping with tucks and baby wipes... those tucks feel soooo good.

TMI ahead: I don't know what is going on with my butt. I feel like there is something like a hemmorhoid there, but I have never had a hemmorhoid and the doctor said I had none. I would not even know what one looked like. I did not ask her what the hell this thing is. It is like a lump that is bleeding and very painful. It hurts to sit down. In fact, I don't think my stitches are hurting at all but this stupid butt thing is killin' me. I am so scared to look at it.

Yes! I was a little scared, but really, they've been the easiest/best bm's I've had in about 9 months! Probably helps that I didn't have any stitches this time though.

Hmmm...took me 4 days, but I think my system was just really cleaned out before delivery. I do feel a bit constipated now, but I suppose it's not normal to go 6 times a day (like I was the last few weeks before delivery).

Still at the hospital. Loads of gas, but nothing of substance so far. I'm hoping something comes tonight so I don't have to worry at family dinner tomorrow.

I don't know. This time is so different in every way than last time. Last time I had, er, produced by now.

I can't wait to get home to use a computer instead of the PSP.
