just wondering how you like it?

www.helium.com

btw they have a HUGE message board over there that looks awesome and the marketplace is really cool. I am going to try for this one.

Your most meaningful family traditions

200 words

FamilyFun, a national magazine for parents of kids ages 5 to 15, is looking for unique and meaningful family traditions. Whether it’s raising butterflies with your kids each spring, or creating magical lollipop hunts to celebrate your kids’ birthdays, we’d love to hear your stories. All traditions must be current day (no stories from your youth), and authors must be willing to be photographed with their families for publication. Please write the idea in the first person and be very descriptive about the tradition and why it has particular meaning to your family.

Have you submitted anything with them yet?

not yet! I am working on the submission for FF. I doubt i'll even get it, but it's worth a shot for $200!

what I want to know is, does Helium pay upfront like AC? It seems like they do, but they also have a lot more to offer as far as jobs go too! I am going to work towards submitting a few this week! (I think I will take some of my stuff planned for AC and put them at Helium.)

I'll be sure to post back!

ok, apparently they don't pay much upfront (from what I gather, still haven't submitted anything). but the thing is buyers from the marketplace, etc. might buy your articles for $20-$200. hmmm. it looks so tempting!

btw the atmosphere over there is so inviting and positive. I really like that.

Thanks!!

Have you gotten published there yet?

I wrote for them a few years ago.... They don't pay out until you reach $25. and unless you are writing a lot and getting lots of page views-it just wasn't worth it for me. When I was there they didn't pay for submissions just for ratings and views. I stuck it out until the minute I hit $25. and cashed out and haven't been back! Hopefully it works better for you now then it did for me then!

I'm with this your articles will always be published online depending how many ratings low or high you get will earn you one cent per article you write - marketplace if you write for a website but you can earn more cents for trying but if they don't select you for publishing in there area =I tried to write a power bill one -of how to prevent you from having a high power bill if it was in the number one material i surely would have gained 60 but they paid me only fourteen cents for that one
