My dd2 (23 months) jumped off of the couch and knocked her head on the coffee table. She split open the bridge of her nose, between her eyes. It was awful.

We went by ambulance to the ER. They sedated her and gave her morphine, but she still screamed bloody murder and had to be held down while they cleaned and stitched her up. Internal and external stitches. The nurses and docs got into a fight with each other about how badly the whole thing went.

We are back home now...watching Lion King (her favorite movie). She's going to be okay. It's probably going to be an awful scar, though.

We're going to alternate tylenol and Ibu tonight and go to see our naturopathic pedi tomorrow.

My poor baby.:

OH, no! s to you and your daughter. Hopefully at her age it will heal quickly and not leave much of a mark. Sounds like a traumatic day. Hope she is feeling better tomorrow.

(((((((hugs)))))) How tramatic! I am so sorry to hear it.

The only thing I have to compair was my DD was 9 months, rolled off the changing table, hit her head on a lower dresser and got a bad bump and screamed and screamed and I called 911! She was fine.... but I was a mess.

This is a billion times worse I am sure and so I have lots of (((((Hugs))))) for the poor mama.

I am happy she is ok.
