My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
I heard there will be a limited theatrical release in January, with a DVD release a month or two later.
We got to see a special screening of it earlier this month...it was great! DH and I both teared up in a few of the birth scenes.
ETA: Yep, the site says: "The film will be released theatrically in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco in January 2008 and the video release will be in March, 2008."
This movie is EVERYWHERE so Mamas, look out for birth related groups or college campuses near you to be sponsoring it! I know we're showing it in Iowa City on January 25th and I can't wait to go. Everything I've heard about it is AMAZING!
DH & I have tix for a screening on December 11, & hopefully dragging a few other pregnant moms with me...
I KNOW (about the trailer) - that last bit, the voiceover of the mom meeting her baby for the first time, omigosh, I'm getting teary again even thinking about it. I totally started bawling the first time I saw the trailer.
So how are you guys finding screenings? I'm in St. Louis, and I haven't heard of it coming anywhere soon, but I would LOVE to see it, especially before the birth of this little one. I can't seem to get too much info from the website.
I'll be checking this out in San Antonio in December and am ridiculously excited!! One thing my DH is really stuck on is that he doesn't care what kind of provider we have (OB, midwife, etc.), but he is pretty insistent on hospital birth. I'm hoping that this documentary will open his eyes up to some other possibilities. We'll see!
