I can't wear Diva cup anymore

Hi,
My period came back - My baby is 16mo, and I'm having a hard time using my Diva cup. It leaks, doesn't stay put and pops out a lot. My kegel muscle must be too loose. I still pee myself when I sneeze or when I really need to go.
Can someone recommend something else that might work for me? Thanks.

post-birth Diva Cup size changes - your cervix is now bigger, etc. and it's time to move up to the #2 I think it is. There are only two sizes - so it's the bigger of the two.

Yep! Totally normal. You should be fine with a size 2.

This is from their site:

Quote:
Model 2: for women who have had vaginal childbirth or c-sections; and for women who are over 30 years old and never had childbirth.

The Model 1 cup is 1 5/8" (~4 cm) in diameter and the Model 2 cup is 1 3/4" (~4.5 cm) in diameter. Both cups are around 2 1/4" in length in the body of the cup, with another 3/8" stem (2 3/4" total length). The stem may be trimmed to adjust to your comfort level.

There is not a big difference between the two sizes (Model 1 is 1/8" (~0.3 cm) smaller), but it is important to use the recommended sizing to prevent leakage.

We recommend Model 2 if you are over 30 years old because as we age, our hips naturally widen and the vaginal muscles lose elasticity. Since it is the vaginal muscles which hold The DivaCup in place, it is important to use Model 2 if you are over 30, even if you have not had a vaginal childbirth or c-section.

I'm wearing size 2! It doesn't leak tons, but my panties are stained always. Do you guys still wear cloth even with a diva cup?

Have you tried using a mooncup? Divas didn't work too well for me either but mooncups seem to fit better.

Does one ALWAYS require a size 2 after childbirth? I bought one, for an exorbitant price, and found out two days later that I was pregnant. So I have a pristine, unused Diva cup sitting in my bathroom cupboard... and no idea if it'll work for me after I have the baby! I can hardly sell it--I doubt there's anyone frugal enough to purchase a second-hand Diva cup...

I've seen them on the TP.

I use a size 1 after childbirth and it's fine for me.

I'm ordering one through a co-op, right now - so, I've had four vag births and should get size 2 then?

I think some makes/models are a better fit than others. I bought the larger size diva cup after my third babe and it always leaked for me for some reason so I pulled out my old smaller size keeper and it works great

I too have seen divas/keepers on the tp and would give it a shot mama. They can be boiled to disinfect them.

I have had four children naturally (1 breech) and my diva leaks. I still use it on the heaviest days of my period with a mama pad. I don't like to have heavy wetness, so the divacup really helps with this.

If a different size Diva cup isn't helping, or if you're already having this trouble with size 2, then I'd suggest cloth pads.
