HELP!!!!! forcloser

our house was put into forclosure :

Dh called them, they took it out (how is it THAT easy?). we are 3 months behind. we owe them 2500 next wednesday and then for the next 4 months it will be a 2000 payment, to pay for forclsure fees and attorney fees. i may be naive and all, but that seems like a big ole scare tactic. with the market the way it is now and stuff.

big to you, mama. I don't have any words of advice, only that I hope things get better for you.

You can always lessen fees. When you call talk to a manager or supervisor, explain your situation. They want your money not your home. Always speak to someone higher up.I really hope you can get it worked out.

Explain how your income and ability to pay will increase in the next couple of months. Offer partial payments. Call them before the payments are late. Write down everything they say.

Talk to local real estate agent so you know if you will loose money in the event of a sale. If you are "above water" and can sell, you might want to do it this way.

Okay I'm confused. How can this be? What happened to the money you would normally make your house payment with? Where did it go? Did you notice that your bank balance was higher than normal and just spend it?

Regardless, the bank wants your money, not your house.
Come up with your own plan of what you can realistically do to fix this and present it to them. Their position will depend on the value of the house and how much you owe. If you have some decent equity in it, they can sell it for what you owe, so they'll be more likely to foreclose. If you're upside down in your loan, they don't want the house.

I just wanted to add that it all depends on where you live for how long it takes be forclosed on.

Set up payment plans with them. They might find an automatic debit out of your account and attactive option because then they know they will get thier money.

And FYI I was informed you have up to a year to get out of your house if they do go through with it.
Sorry this is happening to you. (going through something sort of simmilar)
