Hiccups?

With my last pg I remember that dd had the hiccups a lot... I can't remember when they started though. I haven't felt any yet with this one. Does anyone remember when they usually start?

---I am thinking about it because that is one way I knew that my dd was breech... I felt the hiccups in my ribs not down yonder... and I am hoping that ds stays vertex.---

I will be interested to see what people say. My midwife said at my last appt that I should be feeling them at some point but so far (26 weeks) no dice.

I am 29 weeks and have been feeling them a lot!! My DD was also breech and had them often, but this time I am feeling them in my pelvis, which I am taking as a good sign! I have been wearing a crystal pendant all the time for the grounding effects (supposed to encourage the head down).

I'm sure you'll feel the hiccups soon!

Caleb had them every day (sometimes 2-3x a day) from about 24wks on
Jacob had them 2-3x a week from about 26wks on
Katie has had them a couple of times but nothing like her brothers did.

also I felt them always at the top of my uterus and my boys both flipped vertex early on and stayed that way

I am really concentrating on my posture, doing pelvic tilts, and sitting on the birth ball... so far jack is head down according to the midwife but i haven't felt any hiccups yet... hopefully soon.

thanks for all your replies.

I started feeling them during week 27 (since LMP). This is my first so I have nothing to compare it to, but they happen most often at night and lull me out of sleep for a few minutes. hehe.

I just felt them with the first time at 28 weeks. It seems like I was feeling them earlier and more frequently with my daughter though.
It woke me up too!

What kind of crystal? I'm a little paranoid about having another C-sec due to a breech baby.

Well I have been feeling them for a long time now. I am 29 weeks. I never thought about where they were before but now that you mention it I usually feel them in my ribs. Sometimes you can even see them. But I am not at all worried about Jaslene being breach. I know when I had my 26 week sono she was already in the birthing position. I thought I was out of my mind because I could swear she flips around all day long. I even sometimes feel she is sideways. I thought there wasn't enough room for that. But I went to my best friends sono when she was 28 weeks and that baby flipped 3 times in the short time we were doing the sono. I think it doesn't mean a thing how the baby is positioned right now. I guess it doesn't mean anything clear up until you go into labor. I recall them having to turn ds1 while in labor because he decided to flip feet down. Talk about bad timing. But they managed to get him head down in time for delivery and everything went just fine.

But just to see now I think I will pay closer attention to where the hiccups come from. This should be interesting.
