I don't know if it is a fissure or a hemi or what. It is right outside the opening of my butt. (I am trying to put this as delicately as possible). It is a bump that hurts incredibly bad and bleeds when I touch it. I am keeping it clean with tucks witch hazel pads but it hurts so freaking bad! What is it? Is it going to go away on its own as long as I keep using the tucks? It is maybe the size of a pea but more elongated and not as wide.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Hard to say, mama! I know mine are hemi but that sounds like.. I am not sure. Mine clearly is torn in various spots, so I know why I am bleeding, but not sure why yours is. I would go get it checked.

Sounds like a 'roid to me too. I always get a couple after birth and they go away in a couple of weeks. I just keep them really clean and use a lot of witch hazel. Oh, and don't get constipated! Hard stools (or really loose ones) really make them flare up!

Repeat after me, "It WILL get better, it WILL get better, it WILL get better...."
Yeah, sounds like a hemmorhoid. Try not to sit on it, keep it clean, and use some kind of cream on it -- Tucks, Prep H, even bag balm. I have had hemis while not pregnant and had one bad enough to send me to the doc. She said that anything you can put on it that is protective is good. Hot and cold compresses will help, and/or sitting in the tub or a sitz bath.
Between stitches, sore nipples, and hemis, I feel like I spend an enormous amount of time on body maintenance and care lately.
It WILL get better, it WILL get better, it WILL get better....

: Please don't despair...I didn't mean to upset you...the soreness subsides first, but I would still feel that little bump down there for a couple of weeks. Just make sure it doesn't get more aggravated, eat lots of fiber or spoonfuls of flaxseed mixed with juice...works like a charm. I hope you feel better soon!- maisiedotes

I stole a bunch of those ice pack thingies that you stick in your undies from the hospital and I looooove them. When they are gone I will use a bag of peas or something.

Bummer! It sounds like a 'roid to me. Motherlove makes a great herbal/witch hazel Rhoid Balm that is heavenly. Sounds like you're doing the right things...it *will* get better.
