I have relied on them for several years for gift giving occasions for my dh. I always know he'll like what I get him from there, and he always gets comments/compliments from coworkers. I freaking love that store, it is an enginerd's/technogeek's wife's best friend, man.

I have been working on my df's family tree and have done some reseach about life in Irealand between 1850 and 1865.

The death rate of the Irish was also helped when the English exported most of the their crops to their Indian colonies. They also evicted many many farmers who were not allowed to move in with neighbors or other family members. The evicted families who had a little money could immigate and those without faced certain death from diease at a workhouse.

A huge percentage of Irish died between 1850 and 1860. There is a rally cry on to officially label this an Irish Genocide by the hands of the English.

That's your history lesson for today kids.
