water broke???? maybe....help please

i've seen these posts and didn't think i would be one to experience it. for the last two days i have either had a leak or watery discharge. it does have a pink tinge to it, and once it is on a pad (TMI) it turns brownish tinged. so i'm pretty sure its blood, but it usually only comes out when i have a contraction or sitting for a while and get up. i was up from 1:30am-5:00am with cx 10 min apart and had to change my pad because i was so wet. of course cx are sporadic now:, and i'm exhausted!

so i'm wondering if it is a leak because if it is it's been 2 days of slow leak....and i haven't done TOO much research on leaking. i do know to take showers, keep area clean, do not insert anything...all that. so i will take all you know!

Couldbe a leak but could also be watery mucous which is what I had - my water didn't break til pushing but I was wearing a pad for 2 days before that because the mucous was so watery (also pink tinged).

My MW thought I had the watery mucous thing and didn't believe me that it was the real deal so they tested it. do you have a MW you can call or are you going to the hospital?

Not from your DDC, but when I had my DS2, I had what turned out to be a slow leak for 2 days before labor started. My midwife didn't think it was my water, but when I actually went into labor, my water was completely gone, so I'm sure that's what it was. Good luck - hopefully your little one will be here soon.
