Happy Thanksgiving!

Thread Starter
So, in the midst of feeling sorry for myself and missing my brother this morning (see other thread: Feeling Down...) I am also trying to think about what I'm thankful for. It is Thanksgiving after all (and my birthday!).

I am thankful for this DDC the last nine months or so. You all have been a great inspiration and support to me. Thank you!

What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for SO much but I will keep it short:

My three healthy boys
My Dh whi IS a great guy despite being dense!
my health
DS2's recovery
nice home, all basic needs met and a *little* extra
great practice of wonderful patients

I was thinking about this is the shower before finding the post. I am SO thankful for so many things, finally, in my life.

It seems like my whole life I was so unhappy in my skin and my surroundings. Finally about 5 years ago I made a conscious shift and things started blooming. I spend most of my days now pretty darn happy. I crab about things, but underneath it all, I am smiling at life.

I'm also very thankful for this DDC! I never thought it would be this wonderful.

I'm thankful to have such a great extended family.
I'm thankful that my kids and husband and I are healthy and happy (for the most part )
I'm thankful that we have a home and health insurance and steady employment.

I'm thankful for this DDC too! Sometimes it seems like my sole lifeline.

It's hard to think of things I'm thankful for in the post-partum haze of sleep deprivation and burning nipples, but it's a good exercise.

I'm so grumpy that have to make an exercise to recognize what makes me happy... I'm happy for my three wonderful and healthy boys (though I'm a control freak over the two older kids...), my dear husband (though when he's around I want to snap him), my nice house (though I'm always seeing the things that need to be repaired), the promise of a 6 months maternity leave (though I worry about being short of money very soon...) he, he, I'm happy, yes, I am.

And Happy Birthday to Isaac's Mom (though her birthday was yesterday!!!) ::
