Heading out in a minute. I can't do the crack of dawn shopping with an 8 month old, but we are going to head over to JoAnn's to pick up some stocking stuffers for my best friend. 50% off notions, cheap fat quarters, $.99 flannel, and a 50% off coupon = one fab Christmas stocking!

Now which carrier to wear DS in while battling crowds...

Its only 4:47 am here so no stores yet. All though the only sale I am going to is Joann's. DH is staying home with the hopefully still sleeping kiddos and I am meeting another MDC mama there at 5:30. Hope its not too crazy.

Wow! Great price! What brand are they?

I'm super envious as I have been drooling over flat screen tv's (want one for safety reasons).

I'm about to leave. I think I'm only going to JCPenney. if they don't have the silverwear I want I might go to macys.

and I might sneak by Michaels to pick up yarn - they had patons merino for like 3.79, that's a good price for wool

I'm still lying in bed. Although i think I'll get up now and have coffee.
It's not quite 9, but it feels like sleeping in since I woke up at 5:30 the last few mornings.

I haven't slept in since I was pregnant (5 yrs ago). LOL

4:51am here and DH just opened DD's door...we promised her juice and donuts. : And she gets to travel in her jammies.

We're looking for clothes for her and for Baby Boy mainly. Not much in the way of big stuff, but don't want to miss clothing deals.

Gratefully staying out of the fray. Hooray for online shopping! Although, I must admit, if I had a house to furnish I would consider braving the madness. Nice scores, for you.

Didn't actually leave the house to do any shopping, but I found a play kitchen for ds, made in USA for a closeout price of only $20 online! Woo!

Oh! I thought you were talking about a wooden one.
I wish!!! The only one I found in my price range was made in CHINA! Ugh. I figured a plastic one made in USA is better than a wooden one made in China. Especially after the thread about the lead in Melissa and Doug toys.

Here I know that Kohl's was open at 4 a.m. and Starbucks opened at 3:30 a.m. Insanity!!!!

I just don't know what would get me to brave this shopping day (other than someone paying me a hefty sum to shop for them! ). I think even if I had a house to furnish I wouldn't want to go out today. But maybe if I went alone....(then I can get into "fighting" mode and move through the crowds quickly!)

Dh's birthday is Sunday. He wanted an external hard drive, which is a useful thing anyways. So dd and I got in line

I have never actually done the Black Friday thing before. I am never doing it again. : Dh and his birthday. :

That's weird that Starbucks opened so early. Guess they are catering to the early shopping crowd.
I was thinking of going into town to go to Starbucks today but I'm nervous that even the shopping area of my small town center will be packed.
