Alright, I just pulled out some winterish/fall clothes socks, bras of mine, etc of DD and I to wash and hang and all that jazz. It had her winter coat and everything.... It smelled musty so I washed them 3 times and then finally asked DH to look at them. He said it was MOLD growing in it (he saw dark grey on some of the clothes that I hadn't seen.
So I just tossed 2 garbage bags full of clothing.
I suppose a part of me can think 'yay for decluttering' another part can go 'crap on the frugality'
and yet another side of me screaming 'better mindful management Ambrose!'
arrrrg!!!
Can anyone sympathize? Stroke my pride and say it's ok that so many clothes have gone to waste (I have a massive mold hangup and it churns my stomach that it's been in my washer.)? Hug me and tell me to shape up and give me better storage tips?
Tell me that I WILL find relatively decent bras at an affordable price someday and not feel guilty purchasing them even if we're way behind on bills....

: but he also had packed up the sealed storage tubs and set a couple in the garage and one over the top shelf inside our front closet. The two storage tubs in the garage were fine. The one in the house was moldy.
: The garage bag was, obviously, moldy.
