How to get bathtub crayons off the wall?

They're Crayola and most of it came off easily with soap and water, but the wall is textured and some of it's not coming out of the nooks and crannies. Anyone have advice?

The only thing I can think of is maybe using a toothbrush to get to the nooks.

A little baking soda judiciously applied with a toothbrush should scrub it right off.

What's more challenging: getting bathtub crayon out of the carpet...still haven't figured THAT one out. :

Ugh, this is why we no longer have bath crayons at our house. I scrubbed and scrubbed, but it just took time and repeated scrubbings (with baking soda, simple green, soap, I tried everything I could think of) before it finally faded.
