questions regarding mineral cosmetics and contact lens use...

I am about to get some samples of mineral makeup from http://www.PureAnada.ca (as it is local...only a few hours from my house and man I hate customs charges if I order from the States! ) and also am going back to contact lenses after a hiatus from them for awhile. Anyone have problems with this type of makeup and contact lens use, being that they are loose powders? I imagine you must have to shake or tap the brush well. Can you apply them wet (for example, as eyeliner)/

TIA

I use contact and mineral makeup. It's no problem at all for me, because it's not really loose powder flying around. You swirl it up in the brush and there should be very little excess flying around.
That being said, I also don't use the brush to apply mine anymore. I use a wet makeup sponge and swirl it in the cap to pick up the mineral powder and then use it on my face, very similar to a regular foundation. I break out a lot and that gave me really good coverage.

I use a brush to apply my powder and it has never bothered me with my contacts in at all

Never have a problem with this. I use brushes of all types and only mineral makeup.

OK, really dumb question here. I assume you are putting in your contacts before applying the makeup?? Just wanted to be sure.

You can apply foundation wet:

But some brands might not go on well when wet. You'll have to experiment and see.

Not a dumb question. Thru trial and error, I have learned that putting them in first works best for me.
