I am about to make some homemade products and I would like to hear some tried and true recipes

I'm also wondering how you store your homemade products? For instance, I want to make some cleanser (like comet)....with baking soda and some EO but what type of container would I put it in?

I'm also looking for some other body products and home cleaners... TIA

I put my scented baking soda in an empty plastic Kraft Parmesan cheese container. It works great! I use club soda on mirrors and windows. I just pour it into an empty, cleaned out Windex spray bottle. I have more but my head is pounding and it's waaaaay past my bedtime. I'll try to post more soon.

my all purpose cleaner is a bit of white vinegar and lavender essential oil diluted with water, kept in a spray bottle.

i clean our wood floors with murphy's oil soap, but my frugal hack for this is that i've been able to open the container that comes with the swiffer wet jet. it's SO easy to wash the floors now.

for hand soap, i dilute a bit of lavender dr. bronner's soap in a repurposed foam pump bottle from bath and body works. it makes a nice thick lather, and smells fabulous.

i put vinegar and e.o. in a vase with a lid and then add thin washcloths. they make great counter wipes in the bathroom!

Not sure how uber-natural this is, but I use my dish detergent in my foaming handsoap dispensers. Just a few squirts (about 1/4 to 1/2 inch at the bottom of the dispenser), then fill the rest of the way with water. Voila! Foam hand soap! I use the mildest, least harmful detergent stuff I can find... Right now it's Seventh Generation, but I also like Mrs. Myers and the EO Soap from Whold Foods. Works like a charm! Occasionally we'll use Bronners unscented, and I let my son mix essential oils and food coloring to his desire. That's fun. Poop-colored soap was a real hit!

This works better than Windex by far!

1 cup white vinegar
2 tbs rubbing alcohol
3 cups water

Put it in a spray bottle and go!
