is there a way to remove grease & other stains from already laundered garments?

I noticed yesterday that a pair of DD's pants have a grease stain on them. They've already been washed and dried--is there any way to remove the stain now? I also have a pair of jeans that have a yellowish stain on them from a poopy diaper that leaked. I stain-treated them before I washed them, but some of the stain didn't come out. I also have a favorite shirt that has a yellowish stain of indeterminate origin...any suggestions on getting that out?

Is there hope for any of these garments?

for the grease use a light layer of dishsoap like palmolive or dawn & then re-wash.

Yup, that. Or try Simple Green.

Oh I've been meaning to ask this too because I found a whole outfit that for some reason has one huge grease stain. Do you put it on there dry? Do you rub it? Or do you soak it in cold/hot water and put the soap on it? Do you let it soak for a while before tossing it in the washer?

Try Lava soap.

I put the dry garment on my freezer(which is between my washer & dryer). I open the dishsoap, turn upside down & rub(but no squeezing the bottle) it onto the stain then toss in the machine on hot but without extra soap.

I've had very good luck with full strength Citrasolv - just a drop will usually take care of grease - even when it's already been dried.

For a grease stain I use a very small amount of diluted Bi-o-kleen Soy Solvent.
For an organic stain I saturate the area with Bi-o-kleen Bac-out.
