What TF things are you wanting for the holidays?

I was just wondering what you are asking for to help in your TF journey

I am asking for a grinder to grind wheat and I am asking for Full Moon Feast

Yup, a grinder too. My blender is just not doing the trick with the darn nuts, it takes way too long.

Hmmm, a crock for fermenting. Mine is tapered and that does me no good!

Other than that, some darn raw buttermilk!! Curse the cold weather

A cast iron skillet, and a much-larger stock pot (which kind I'm not sure).

Here's my cook book wishlist:

Wild Fermentation: The Flavor, Nutrition, and Craft of Live-Culture Foods -by Sandor Ellix Katz, Sally Fallon

Full Moon Feast: Food and the Hunger for Connection -Jessica Prentice

Honey from a Weed: Fasting and Feasting in Tuscany, Catalonia, the Cyclades and Apulia -Patience Gray

The Garden of Eating: A Produce-dominated Diet & Cookbook by Rachel Albert-Matesz & Don Matesz

EncarnaciĂłn's Kitchen: Mexican Recipes from Nineteenth-Century California
- EncarnacionPinedo

Keeping Food Fresh: Old World Techniques & Recipes

The Mood Cure
- Julia Ross

The Diet Cure
- Julia Ross

I would also like a cast iron griddle - one that covers two units & a couple of Le Creuset pieces. Oh, and some more quality stainless stell pieces, like a really big saute pan with higher sides.

Last year I got a few good books:

The Healthy Slow Cooker: More than 100 Dishes for Health and Wellness by Judith Finlayson (Not TF, but still a good slow cooker book!)

I got the new Joy of Cooking.

Also On Food and Cooking by Harold McGee - very cool book.

Oh, and EFLF, shich I still haven't read through. I don't need to lose any weight, but I wanted it for the recipes & to lend out to anyone on a nasty diet.
