coating on little ones tongue

My dd (3) had a coating on her tongue- it is at the back half of her tongue- it doesn't appear sore in any way. What could it be? And how can I clear it up? She has a vegan diet, has very few sweets only occasionally- drinks diluted fruit juice. She does like wheat and has quite a bit every day- pasta/ bread. Any ideas?

Is it a white coating? That could be thrush.

Hi
Yes it is a whiteish coating just at the back- she had terrible thrush when she was a baby- but raspberry leaf tea and homeopathy (borax) cleared it up. Forgot to say she also drinks lots of milk (sweetened soya). If it is thrush what dietary things could have caused it or help to clear it?
