I have to admit, I have a Moby, a Maya (ring sling), infantino, new native, and a baby bjorn and I LOVE the Moby the best. I got it today and Mairaed calms right down when I put her in it. I was having a coniption about the maya wrap because I could not get it right but the Moby was so easy and comfortable.

I am embarassed to say, i was lugging her around in the carseat until I could find a sling I liked and it was so awkward- I even whacked the edge of the carseat on the doorjam. Ugh. Luckily she was not in it at the time... I will not be lugging her around in the heavy carseat anymore.

I highly recommend the moby (well, at least above the other ones I have tried...)

someone loaned me her maya wrap and its such a beautiful dark purple...anyway, gina, my beautiful mama friend, i'm also struggling getting it right. have you gone to mayawrap.com? they have little videos explaining how to do it...still, i'm boggled...sheamas didn't seem to fit right in there...i'll figure it out i'm sure. and my infantino is so different from my bjorn i had w/ megh i'm frustrated w/ it...i think i'm 'over' that type of carrier...... my new friend here in OR made me a mai tai i believe......i can't wait to see it. she is asian and sews so i bet its just gorgeous!!! she has awesome taste too. she is a sweetie.

Thank you!!!!!

This isn't and easy feat, so I am so proud. I am so big breasted it's hard to juggle "the girls," I am not leaking like I used to so I CAN finally pull a boob out in public without soaking everything, and one of my arms was damaged by shoulder dystocia when I was born so I do things differently (like pulling my right breast out with my right hand which can get tricky).

AND just plain maturity, support by other mamas, and more committment to BF'ing has made it more possible.

I tried out both my Maya LP and my Moby today. I love both. I find the Maya LP much easier and quicker to use (i have had no problems whatsoever with adjusting/positioning), but really have uses for both. I think I will put the Maya LP in the diaper bag for going out and about, and keep the Moby at home for doing housework and such. I can't actually do either of those things yet--when I can I'll let you know how it goes.
