Hmm, lots of goals...

- finish getting house in shape (i.e. some remodeling, some decluttering, some furniture buying, some decorating, setting up baby's room!, and I don't even want to think about the outside things that need to be done, like repair gutters, new coat of paint, fix disintegrating porch rails, etc.). We've already done the worst of the DIY stuff, but still plenty left to do.

- all of the first-baby-related-stuff, like finding an OB, child care, changing health insurance, buy EVERYTHING we'll need, etc.

- maybe(??) get a new car? Ours are both 10+ years old, and DH's is definitely starting to limp a bit. We'd really like a hybrid station wagon that would accomodate us, baby, and 2 big dogs, but those aren't being made yet. I'm not sure what we'll do.

- I have other goals for spring, like expanding our veg garden and getting a few hens for eggs/pets, doing more knitting and spinning, etc., but I'm going to try to be realistic and not too disappointed if I don't feel up to all that stuff.

Lots of things--but only one that is set in stone:

Finish dissertation.

oh, wow. i totally changed all my goals! lol. we figured out how to fit 3 kids in our car and switched to different remodeling projects (which are all done/almost done/but will never be done because we keep thinking of other cool things to do. and we did the veggie garden! (well, i sat in a lawn chair and read a book while the kids did the veggie garden. but it's done!)

dandecobb, looks like you hit 1,000 posts! where are you at with your other goals?

these are mine;

-finish my decluttering (90% done)
-save up and by a new to me car
-have enough $ for mat. leave stashed
-get DS 1 in big boy bed
-hit 1000 posts
the decluttering i have realized is a constant thing, got it all done at the end of the 2nd trimester, then stuff started piling up again, but i'm back to having it done, got a new filing cabinet this weekend and all the papers orgainized.

got a new car (love it, a 2006 ford freestar, paid for in cash!)

eh, we'll hobble thru maternity leave, DH lost his job for 2.5 months and just a got a new one 2 weeks ago

got to 100o posts!

later on in this thread i posted about wanting to scrapbook, that i did not even touch! so the plan is tomorrow my mom and i are getting it alllllllllll out in the hopes that if we make a mess (especially one i need to clean up myself) the baby will come!

Still working on all of mine!

So, not too bad. Not really added much to my list though. I am just ready to pop this baby out and then go from there.

bwahaha --- I didn't notice the post dates at the top of the thread and I keep reading and reading thinking "are these ladies serious?!? they're going to do all that in the next couple days or weeks???"

heh, glad I finally noticed the dates otherwise I was gonna just crawl in bed and sleep until birth sine I'm clearly unmotivated!

I would also really like to keep my weight gain at or under 30 pounds this time. Unless I find out it's twins DONE! Gained about 25. Ate lots of healthy foods!

Increase my diaper stash. DONE! Newborn Stash accomplished!

Have the circ talk with DH.... DONE! No circ here and no argument about it either! Now... will it be a boy?

Figure out how the heck we are going to pay the MW. At this point it looks like we will need a loan. Fortunately the chances are god that we will get $$ back from insurance. DONE! Let's hope the insurance pays like they say they will
