TMI bloody mucus question

OK, so yesterday I had some red/brown spotting and passed some thick red/brown mucus. Then nothing all day today, and now tonight lots of pink mucus (not as thick as yesterday) along with a good amount of cramping and pain in what I'm assuming is my pubic bone. Is this all still mucus plug? Or is this bloody show now? Or are they the same thing?

Sorry, this is all new for me--DD was never able to descend enough for any of this to happen. I'm just really hoping this is a good sign, since the clock is ticking a bit for me...

I always thought the plug and bloody show was the same thing. Just if it didnt have blood it was plain plug and with blood was show.

At any rate I bet your baby will be here pretty soon

From what I understand, you lose the plug during pregnancy a lot of times...in, like, sort of dense blobs?
The clear stuff tinged with blood is bloody show. It's "fresh stuff". Your body starts making that as you go into labor.
The OP is in labor, I believe. I bet she'll have a baby next time we hear from her.
