Our kit is $40 and we get a free gift basket with it.... who knows what the gift basket is.

Mine was included and my midwife gave me one each time. We did buy a shower curtain for the bed, though. My friend who used my midwife's partner had to buy her birth kit and get the stuff on her own.

Mine cost $50 and was not included in the MW's fees.

We ordered from Everythingbirth.com and the list was customized for my MW.

My kit cost $30, and I bought an additional $15 in supplies that I thought I'd want. Plus the MW also gave us a list of other things to have available, but it's stuff we have around the house (sheets, towels, crock pot, etc.)

Mine was included in her fees but we did buy a plastic sheet for the bed.
