Bear is a pooping machine and the poor kid would be covered if we didn't change him after a feeding. I swear he is going to live up to his nickname, he is 2.5 weeks old has grown an inch and gained a pound + on his birth weight. In fact he poops so much I'm waiting to use all the wool soakers I knitted until maybe he slows down some.

Finley poops nonstop it seems and we have only gotten poop on one cover so far and it came right out. The wool covers seem to keep everything else a lot dryer too (like my pants, the bed, his carseat, etc. lol)

I change him in between boobs. That way he wakes up a bit to take the second breast and I get a bit more sleep between feedings.

I'm more or less living the fantasy too. : Last night, I changed him around 10pm and then didn't change him again until around 7am, and his diaper was only a little bit wet and barely poopy, and he'd been nursing all night. I think he must have just somehow been holding it or something, because his 9am diaper was absolutely soaked and full of poo..

Now that I've said that though, I'm sure I'm in for a night of him insisting I change him every 2 hours or something..
