I finally found a dehydrator with stainless trays. I thought I should share. Here is the best price for the unit and shipping I could find:

All our money is spent on pastured foods or preparing them correctly. At least it is only half of what the juicer cost.

Someone posted that two years ago here and I was lusting after it at that point too...

Half the juicer...does that mean that you have a Green Star? I'm verrrrrry jealous!

I have a Samson twin gear something or other. It was over $400 which was a lot, but it makes this much less painful. I guess a grain grinder is next.

Do you like the juicer? What do you juice? Is it really pulpy?

I have a Green Star. So far I have just made apple juice, but it clogged up and it was really pulpy.

I have an Omega 8003 which is the single auger version of the twin gear juicers. I researched a bunch and decided on this mainly because I juice greens. It does NOT do well with apples, but from what I read none of the really good juicers do. Apples are juiced better in centrifugal juicers, but at that high a speed you have significant oxidation and many of the enzymes are destroyed.

Maybe try some carrot/cucumber/celery juice? I guarantee that you'll love your green star! My favorite is ginger/parsley/cucumber.

I only juice carrots/greens and have always been pleased with the results.
