[Hi! Just made it here, with a EDD of August 3 for baby #2.
My daughter Alex is 2 1/2. She was born in the hospital with an independent midwife and no pain meds, and I'm planning to go the same route with #2.]
I was wondering how this works, having an independant midwife in a hospital. It seems like most hospitals wouldn't allow this since it would be risky insurance wise. Do you mind sharing your experience?

: Mamas! I am SO happy to be here! This will be baby #4 for us, I am due August 1st and we are planning another homebirth.

At least I made it 6 months this time before I got preggo. I have a 4 yr old DS who was delivered in a hospital with lots of interventions. It was such a bad experience that I started looking into homebirth about 2 years ago. This one will be a homebirth if all goes as planned.
