PP mamas - what are you wearing? - Page 2

I have one pair of jeans I wear every day. My belly is back to its normal size but my butt and thighs have a ways to go... I may head over to Goodwill for another pair of jeans but I hate to spend all kinds of money on stuff that I (hopefully) won't be wearing for long. I do have plenty of shirts.. most with breastmilk on them. Gotta do some laundry...

I'm wearing my maternity bottoms and t-shirts that are one size bigger than what I wore pre-pg, but that's mostly because it's easier to nurse when your shirt is a little looser.

This pg I have shorts that I bought around 3-4 months which are smaller than what I was wearing toward the end, so right now those are working quite well. All my "small" clothes are in a box (because we moved) and I have "smaller" clothes in a box in my room (bigger than the "small" clothes). I think those "smaller" items are the ones I bought after having my son when it took me a while to get back to pre-pg shape so I actually resorting to buying different size shorts and pants.

I haven't yet left the house, and so don't need "real" clothes yet. There's a belly band wrapped around my breasts for easy access, a girdle around my waist, and adult diapers that look ruffled and oddly cute. DH said it was Dita Von Teese postpartum. Anyone want to start a burlesque group?

By the way, I can't recommend wearing a girdle enough! A lot of cultures do this immediately postpartum, and now I see why. My internal organs and round ligaments were getting so uncomfortable with all the sloshing around, and it really helped put things back into place.
