Anyone not finding out the gender? - Page 2

Surprise this time!

We found out last time, too. We had out u/s in early December and asked the doc to put it in an envelope for us. DH wanted to know, I didn't, and we decided we'd wait until Christmas Eve and open it then. Well, stupid me thought the OB had given us an empty envelope, so in the car on the way home I held it up and though it was an overcast day, I could see perfectly well that he'd written it in black ink on a yellow post-it. I only saw one letter but that was enough... and it took me over a week to own up to the fact I knew.

I had u/s with all three for bleeding and as I have no patience, I knew they were all girls. Of course, I already knew they were all girls.

I think this one is a girl also, but we will find out next August!

I'm too much of a control freak and planner (and a spaz) to not find out. I just have to know. So yes, I will have an u/s.

We're probably not going to find out either. I don't think we'll do an ultrasound, but that's still to be determined.

When DS was born, my husband delivered him and put him right on my chest. After about 5 minutes the midwife said, "Do you know if it's a boy or girl yet?" We had completely forgotten to check we were just so excited he was with us!

I'm still not sure, but I'm leaning towards letting it be a surprise. DH definitely doesn't want to know, and I know I couldn't keep my mouth shut if I knew the gender and he didn't.

Not finding out either! Love it, although it seems like its going to be harder this time around!

We didn't find out with our 2, but I kinda want to know in case it is a boy and not a girl like we already have. DH said no. LOL! I will have to wait. I wouldn't be able to keep it a secret!

I'm not sure if I want to know. I think we'll find out the sex sometime in Feb and my baby daddy's birthday is in Feb so it will be a pleasant birthday present for him. If I remember correctly, when we first started talking about a child we both said we wouldn't want to know but I don't know. We'll see. I just want a healthy pregnancy.

We will find out. I love the surprise and for me, it's well-timed to have that surprise about 1/2-way through the pregnancy, when I am feeling big and tired and ready for some news to delight in. I also like the way it makes me feel closer to baby.

No ultrasound (hopefully) and not finding out! Woo-hoo for the ultimate surprise!

Nope!

We've actually enjoyed keeping both of our baby's genders a surprise till birth in the past. And just about everyone has an opinion about what the baby will be (from hairdressers, relatives, to strangers in the grocery store). It's kind of fun.

Not only that it drives the Grandmothers-to-be crazy!

'Course if we ever need an u/s then we will find out. Hey, I don't have that much will power! And if they're looking anyways...

we haven't ever found out and probably won't with this one either.

It was a great honor for my then 5 yr old dd to get to check and announce that she had a sister. She is looking forward to doing the same with this one.

That's the best part!

Too, I figure if labor turns out to be lame, the anticipation will be great motivation.
