"A room for school"..

We're in Ohio this week looking at houses to prepare for an upcoming move. The last house we looked at was gorgeous and huge. While upstairs, my 5 yr dd came running up to me so excited that she "had found a room for school" and I "just had to come see it". So we went downstairs and she opened every closet door (getting me worried LOL) until she found the den. When she saw the den (complete with french doors) she immediately thought of homeschooling!

We don't even have a special room for school!

How cute! It's wonderful that your dd is so enthusiastic about homeschooling!

(Ruthla, we don't have a room either...work happens at the kitchen table, reading on the couch in the livingroom, and our shelf of books is in the laundry room!)

our 4th bedroom is my dh's office right now (and my MDC portal). i'm hoping when he gets an office (in 2009 or 2010 he's expected too) i will take over in here and create a room for school.....that's my plan anyway

Yes, the problem is it's about $50K out of our price range!

We don't have a room now either. We work in the kitchen, in the family room, and in my bed for reading. That's why I thought it was so cute that she picked a room for "school".
