so i have started this thread a handful of times and then had to stop everytime for one thing or the other

BORN AT HOME!!!
i started having cx 10 min apart on wed night, nov 22 from 1am-5am nothing TOO bad but uncomfortable enought that i had to come downstairs and watch tv. finally fell asleep at 5am and woke up thanksgiving morning to the cx stopped! well, i stayed home while DH, DS and parents went across the street to ILs big thanksgiving breakfast. spent most of the day making thanksgiving dinner for 10!! cx started up sporadically later in the afternoon. didn't really pay alot of attention to them because they had been coming and going. finally around 5pm i had to stop cooking and start paying attention to the cx. they seemed to be 6-8 minutes apart. so that's when we made the call to pick up and move all of food to our neighbors for thanksgiving dinner. it was amazing how fast the food got moved when we finally made the decision
it was so sad though because we had the dining room table set with all our china and my mom decorated! it was gorgeous!! we took lots of pics before putting everything away, and turning the room into our birthing room. set up the bed and tub. things seemed to move pretty fast. except for the filling of the tub...we started filling it at 8pm when i started having pretty hard cx about 5 min apart. we called MW at 8 to let her know what was going on and that we were filling the tub. by 10 the tub was full and my cx were less then 3 min. i got into the tub and OMG did it feel sooooo good!! it did stop the cx for a couple min so i got a little rest, had a couple HARD ones in the tub and had to get out to go pee. as soon as i got out the cx were on top of each other. we called MW around 12am to come because i started feeling a little pressure. she arrived a few minutes later. so this is where it all gets blurry: w/in a half hour after she arrived my water broke, and i wa salmost completely dialated. but of course just like DS mabel did NOT want to drop...so i ended up with back labor again
: within the next 2 hours i was all over the house with VERY INTENSE cx which help the last bit of anterior lip to dialate and mabel to drop. i was on the toilet, the stairs, i ended up in the shower with DH. got out and on to the bed. had 2-3 cx on the bed and then started pushing. i pushed for ~20 min. of course her shoulder had to get stuck just like her big brother! DH helped apply fundle pressure so MW could get up and in to move shoulder. mabel came shooting out all 9lbs 4oz at 2:47am!! ~9.5 hours of labor. NO TEARS!!! it feels so weird not to have stitches!! nurses like a pro! very healthy! i'm sure i'm missing things...

my parents and DS slept thru the whole thing! it was the cutest thing to have DS wake up to his new little sister...he came in and said "wow nana look the baby finally came out!!!" he gave her kisses and wanted to lay with her.:
