my first week alone

DH is gone for the week - will I survive??

Busy week for us between doc's and chiro appt's, plus random stuff that I need to get done!

Its the nights and mornings that are going to be hard - Henry loves to cry from 11pm - 1 am. Interesting time to do it, I guess, but DH has been good at taking him and soothing him when I am just exhausted from the day.

I dont know how you military and single mama's do it!!

HUgs, mama. I think you'll do just fine. It's amazing what reserves we find in ourselves when we need to. Is your dh already gone? If not can you get all your grocery shopping etc done beforehand so that you just have to go out for those essential dr. appts? Will you have any help?

I'm with you...I'm totally in awe of the military and single parents out there!

he left early this morning...he wanted to go shopping last night for us, but it got too late, and I told him to forget it. He still had to pack, and I wanted him to put Sam to bed and spend some time with him.

My folks are next door, so I know I can call on them...but probably wont :

My mom is coming tonight with me to the cardiologist - I'm glad to have company there! I've got a lot of friends around, but all have kids with colds etc, and we are keeping Henry in seclusion until we know whats up with his breathing - hard to do with another kid in preschool, but we all have raw hands from washing! I'm going a bit stir crazy from not doing or going anywhere...

good...i read you update on Henry's appt so i figured your parents are close. Even just knowing they're there (if you need them) is good. I hope the appt goes well

I'm sure you'll do fine. My babe's (all of them) have been especially fussy during the late night hours and it's totally exhausting. I'm there with you. I've had tons of help so far, but dh is leaving Thursday morning and I'm not sure how I'll survive yet, but I know I will. My mom will be here on Sunday and is staying for a month. That will help, but it will be fun seeing how I manage during those in between days.
