I believe that Marina Alzugaray is both a CNM and CPM. Here is her contact information: http://www.comadresinstitute.com/contact.htm

Re: Marina

This is a very late post (5 years late), but I am about to take Marina's Spanish Immersion in a couple weeks...

You're not posting late...this thread is only a month old.

I saw Marina's web site and have been e-mailing with her...the program looks great!

I know one, but she works solely as a CPM now. She's on maternity leave and I have no clue how to get in contact with her.

Stace- I've been researching her program. I've e-mailed Marina a few times and told her what I'm looking for (everything you and I have talked about). It sounds promising. Perhaps a mama trip is our future together (besides Bali, of course)??

Lisa Goldstein in North Carolina. No contact info but I bet you could google her. She has a thriving herb/homepathics business as well.

I Lisa!! I've met her several times and have had great convos w/ her about this stuff. She's actually the one who got me started thinking about what it would mean having both midwifery certifications.

I know a couple- and I know some nurses who started as LMs and bumped up to nurses via Regence (excelsior now) I think that the CNMS have dropped their CPM status because of costs and paperwork ...
Marina may have a different situation because in Florida CPM has certain practice freedoms CNMs don't have. I will ask if I can pass along the email addresses of the gals I know.
