Probiotics

hi,

Can anyone recommend a probiotic for a toddler who has multiple allergies? nothing with dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, nuts or seeds. I figure we should be doing this, but I feel so unsure about what to use with all our restrictions.

thanks in advance!!

Thanks. I think I recall that this is not a good one for us due to being cultured on dairy. I will write to them.

Its not cultured on dairy but on chicory root. Its the same as their pro biogold probitoic , the link in as below
http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/products/...0_Spec042.html

They have replaced the inulin so that the product is compliable with those on the SCD diet which does not accept inulin in the list of things to eat.
U can also search for probiotics in this forum and the general health and healing forum and will get a lot of results, thats how I had decided on the brand. Good Luck.

I use Kyodophilous (I get it from Nutrition Express) - it's free of the Big 8 and is cultured with potato starch. I'm not avoiding seeds in general so don't know if those are avoided with it though I assume so, since it's potato based.

I know you want supplements but keep in mind that ferments like unpasteurized saurkraut can contribute some good bacteria as well. It's really easy to make.
