anyone else using a kangaroo adjustable pouch?

i have one that i just started using, and i'm not sure if i'm wearing it right....i can't really move my one arm with the pouch on, because of the way the pouch wraps around. mabel seems to love it, but i don't have to much range of motion. i was wondering if i am wearing it wrong or if i should consider getting a mei tai or something similiar. i used a bjorn with DS, but have decided not to this time around. my mom has offered to make a mei tai for me...she used to make them for all of us when we were babies. in that case if anyone knows of a pattern that you would like to share...that would be great!!???:

I find that my range of motion does tend to be limited when I"m wearing DS in a pouch, although I can still do things if I try and take a bit of time. However, if I know I"m going to need to be active, a Mei Tai is definitely a better choice. Haven't made my own though, so no suggestions for patterns - try the babywearing forum - someone there might have some ideas for patterns.

I have one and love it, as does Ronin. I don't have the range of motion that I do with my wrap, but it's not too bad. Maybe you have it too tight? Mabel was a big girl, right? I have it on the tightest for Ronin, but dh has to loosen it for himself.

Have one and love it...I understand the range of motion issues also - I'm much better at things with this Ds than I was with the my first.

kkafp is one of my faves! you can try wearing the sling a little higher on your arm, but not so high as to encroach upon your neck.

its comfort is worth a little restricted arm movement. there's no other pouch so comfy.

I have a fleece one, but I can't find it. Grrr.... I've been using a ring sling, but I'd like to find my KKAFP. Yes, I did find that it limited my range of motion, even more than my ring sling.
