I've been infrequently coming on here for almost 2 years... but it is becoming more frequent so I thought I should introduce myself. I live in Vermont, have a daughter, Raevan, that was born Jan 20, 06 and I have another daughter due Jan. 29, 08. We wanted them 2 years apart but I didn't expect it to be THAT close to two years!! We CDed Raevan and will be doing the same for our next one. We are pretty much completely anti-China made goods, way before this lead thing became an issue, we were for lots of reasons but we would still buy them second hand, but now we can't even trust second hand Chinese goods... Honestly, I don't even trust Chinese goods when they say that they are organic/ fair-trade, good practices etc. I guess I'd actually have to go to the factory and be proven this is the case -sad to say.
We are not quite totally crunchy, but as time goes by I see us changing and getting a little more extreme -educated- is what I like to refer to it as.
