Sizing for Hannah Anderson Underwear

Can someone tell me if the Size Small Hannah Anderson Underwear will fit a 40 lb almost 5 year old girl? Do I need to go to the medium? I think we have XS and she's ready for larger, but I'm at work and not sure. She's VERY sensitive and everything else is making her itch.

thx

I just pulled up the size chart, and it sounds like your DD might need a small. Here's what it says:

Small is size 100-110, fits 31-48 lbs, ages 3-6.
Medium is size 120-13, fits 45-64 lbs, ages 6-10.

My DD started wearing Medium right before her fifth birthday, when she weighed right around 45 pounds. The smalls weren't tight, but they felt snug when I ran my finger around the waist. The mediums were big, but seemed really comfy at that point.

Good luck! I only wish they made these panties in my size, because I would *so* wear them!

I second sizing up. Also, my DD likes the bikini or "hipster" style versus the traditional fit (or Grannypants as we call them around here-no offense intended to any actual grannies!).

I would say go for smalls. My DS is almost 8 and weighs around 55 lbs and still wears the smalls.

I think it depends on body type. My DD wore the smalls from 2-6 and then I sized her up. The traditional fit mediums are a bit full and she still can wear a small. But, the hipsters are much snugger. She has an um round tush. She weighs 56 pounds. DD I think will wear Hanna underwear forever, she refuses anything else.

That's funny! We tried one pack of the hipsters, and DD hated them. She named them the "wedgie panties." So we're both Granny panties all the way, baby!

Thanks. I couldn't find a size chart, but I did find an old order of mine and saw that we had bought smalls (hipsters) last time so that should work. And because they were on-sale ($10 instead of 20) I bought 2 packs of smalls and 2 packs of mediums. That should hold for a little while.

Now, for socks without seams and instructions on the brush tx for sensory issues. Winter just might kill me!
