As of this morning I am 8dpo and pregnant! This was our first month of trying, though I had been using FAM to avoid for months. I am so excited to finally be joining a DDC! According to FF my EDD is August 14th.

About us:
DH and I are 26 years old we have been married for about a year and this will be our first child. We began dating when we were 17 and were married on our 8 year anniversary. I am a bit of an over-planner/control freak when it come to big life events, so we already have names picked out and I figured out the maternity-leave situation with my job when I started this past summer. I am looking forward to a homebirth with a midwife.

Very exciting! I'm an over-planner like you, too--we already have names picked out, and we've been working on the house for months, getting things ready to put in a nursery, whenever the need arose! Slightly similar story here, too--I'm 27 (but DH is OLD, 36--lol), we were together for 6.5 years before getting married this June, and hit the lottery on our second month TTC. We've been dreaming about kids for years--I just hope everything goes well!!
