My edd is the 12th and I'm 38 weeks, 2 days, meaning you are 37 weeks and 6 days today or 38 weeks tomorrow.

I've been having this for a little while now. My mw said at my last appt that baby is nestled into my leg. I keep telling the baby that they need to come out through my vagina and not my leg, but they don't seem to be listening!

I'm 38w2d and fully expecting to be pregnant for 3-4 more weeks. No signs of labor whatsoever and my mw is still seeing me only every other week.

I probably won't be able to check in on a daily basis unless/until we get reliable internet access, but as soon as baby comes, we will find a way to get online and update you all!

I'm still here, too. I will be 40 weeks on Tuesday, and 40 lbs heavier than when I started! I have a lot of work to do after this baby comes! Hopefully BFing kills as many calories as people say.

Last night was my first night of BH ctx's that actually made my lower back/hips hurt. I had about 6 that were maybe 5 minutes apart, and I thought "I don't want to do this for more than a few days". This morning, I feel great! Glad you're all hanging in there. This is a great idea, Sarah - thanks, and have a great weekend!

I am 36 weeks and thrilled to have made it this far! (This is also my midwives cut-off date) : I went into labor with my daughter at 36w 2d, so I'm not counting on going much longer...definitely not past 38 weeks. (great if I do..I'm just not getting my hopes up )

I bought the plaster strips today to do my belly cast this weekend. I'm so excited!

Here! Feeling ridiculously comfortable for 39+ weeks. : I do wish the Wombat would hurry up and get here, because my little brother is flying across the country to see us for Christmas (not my plan, grrr), and I don't want to be in labor when he's here. I don't feel like anything at all is happening, though.

Thanks for starting this thread, SheBear!

Here, though if you had asked me yesterday I would have sworn I would be holding a new kiddo today. Hard, mean contractions for hours, 4-5 minutes apart, and then? at 1am? Poof, gone. Goodnight. I think my poor DH was more disappointed than me though, since he has to work 16+ hours a day the next 4 days and wanted to be able to call in this morning and not go, lol.

Great idea Sarah - thanks!

I'm 40 weeks in TWO DAYS! I am oh so ready whenever this baby is! Just anxious and excited to get this show on the road. I'm really hoping y'all *don't* hear from me tomorrow! But, first timer and all, I could be around for another two weeks...

*raises hand* Present! 38w4d, and like Steph I am anticipating another few weeks. I don't feel like this baby is in any rush at all. Which is fine by me! Ideally I would like to give birth sometime between 40w4d and 41w1d, lol. That would be the perfect window of opportunity. Let's see what baby's plans are!

Here too. I'll be 37 weeks Wednesday, but I'm having this one on Tuesday. I'll be induced due to pre-E. Third baby in a row that I go pre-E on. At least I didn't have kidney stones with this one!! Just my hips falling off my body!!

I'll be 37 weeks on Tues and thus clear for a homebirth. Hope baby stays in until around the due date, not really expecting much in the next couple of week. I remember when I was pregnant with DD I was SO anxious for her to be born. I am a lot better at being patient this time around And since I did all my Christmas shopping online I am having loads of fun getting packages every day and wrapping them as they arrive!

I'm 36 weeks today, I believe, and I am feeling like we're in it for the long haul. I'm really not expecting this baby anytime soon, although we are relatively ready if they DO come soon.

I think thats why my MW's are "encouraging me" to start labor so soon (I am 38 weeks but I am happy to go late) Because my weird blood pressure stuff the other day. That way we dont ever get to the PreE point. Kinda. LoL

I am planning on doing this! My goal was to have everything ready and wrapped by the 1st but it isnt happening.

I do have TONS of stuff marked off in a couple of catalogs so I am ready to go.

I cant think of stuff for my little girl though! And her birthday is the day after xmas!!! I am such a horrible mommy that I cant even shop for my little girl. I am totally clueless as to what to get a 2 yr old. But I have a billion things picked for my 4 yr old.

I'll be 40 weeks on Tuesday! Can't believe it's here!!!! Doing pretty good stillbeing pregnant, actually have feelings of complete readiness and a little desire for a little more time. A few things happening in our recent days that need to be finshed before baby. I am sure he/she feels that though. Also kinda wishing baby to wait until the 8th or 9th, when MIL comes, would love for her to see baby being born...we'll see!

Comforts and patience to you all! For those also that are struggling-

My midwife said something that has been helping me enjoy this last bit of time. She said that this time right now is the absolute closest I will ever be to baby as he is so fully "there" and in -tune with our thoughts, emotions and all that to give baby lots of acknowledgment in this sense. These last days we release so many chemicals and hormones that trigger the "love" hormones and positive sensations for baby. It's an awesome thing to think of this power and deliberate motivation of our next intent-life outside! Make this last bit of time a peaceful and safe place for baby to dwell in and I'm sure it will help to get through these days.

I am sort of ok with staying pregnant-there is always more I can do around the house to get ready-and this is probably my last pregnancy. So I have tried to enjoy it.
But that said, my butt is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So-lets get this party started!

On or after the 3rd. When my house is professionally cleaned...

And I have had a nice glass of wine. (I found this totally awesome wine for $5.99 a bottle. It's called Malbec. (Thats the grape)

Ok....so anyways....

OMG, me too. I keep wondering what that pain is. It feels like my hip won't go into socket all the way. They usually pop a lot, but that one won't. I think she's pushing hard on that side and that's where her back is. Lots of pressure, and that leg swelled up last week. Straighten out, kid!

Well, that's a lovely thought. Thank you for sharing, I liked that.

I am still here. Still pg. According to one due date, I am 10 days late, according to another due date, I am 3 days late and according to MY ORIGINAL due date, I am 38w3d.

I'll participate in a daily roll call with some amusing complaint every day. I will try to abstain from ever saying "I think this is it" because I have done that like 3 times now and it's getting old. I'm sick of crying wolf. However, please know that several times a week, though- I think I'm in labor. And obviously I am always wrong. You'd think that after 5 children I would be better at this.

When my daughter was 2, I did a lot of babysitting as well as going to college and her favorite things to play with were baby-dolls, blankets, and my old school papers shoved into little bags/backpacks. However--that was my daughter. One good thing about them being 2 is that just the excitement of the christmas/birthday paper and boxes are usually much more fun than the actual gifts. Perhaps getting a few big boxes, wrapping them in paper and having a small item in it might be the way to go

Mama and baby reporting for duty. I'm now 36 weeks, which means we are good to go for a homebirth. I hope Cyrus has no plans to make his debut in the next couple weeks, because the toothpick isn't coming out quite clean just yet. He needs just a little bit more time in the oven.

Good luck on the church weekend! Say hi to God for me! And, even though I know you will ignore this advice, don't overexert yourself too much.

I bought my 2-year old an easel with special paint cups, brushes, paints, etc. this year. She loves "painting" but now I only let her do it outside because it's such a mess. I think the easel will help us do more indoor art projects when it's cold Oh, we also got her a tricycle for her birthday last month. And this year I bought some DVDs because I know there will be times when I just need her to be content and quiet for a while.

I am here! 36 weeks tomorrow. I am officially the most pregnant I have ever been. DD was born at exactly 36 weeks according to the doctor's, but I know my dates and she was actually born at 35w4d. I do NOT want to go through another four weeks, because my PSD that had gone away is back. Not with as much of a vengance, but back none the less. I don't want to go until after I finish my final exams (which I can do Dec 10th), but after that, I'm good (I'll be 37w2d).

Oh, and I'd like to have a name picked out. Reese Elizabeth has been vetoed and we're having a hell of a time coming up with something else. : Why can't God send them out with a tattoo of the perfect name on the sole of their foot or something?
