I just uploaded some new pictures from dh's R&R. There are some good pictures of Piper and several of Piper with her sisters. Piper is getting so big already. You can see at the end of the album where she is already over 2 weeks old.

Adorable!!!

The girls are just gorgeous and look so much alike. It will be interesting to see if Piper is another look-a-like. How SWEET. Can you tell I've always wanted little girls like that??? *sigh*

Awww...so cute!

I think my favourite is the picture of Piper all swaddled up in the pale green blankie. It makes me realize that they're only that tiny once *sniff*.

You are blessed to have such a lovely family.

I totally agree! Love that picture! It's actually a Kidopotomus swaddling blanket and it's absolutely the best! Got it as a gift and it's been one of my favorite things we have so far.

Thanks. No, don't sell. My sewing is purely a hobby. I've tried selling a few times (mostly diapers) but it stresses me out too much trying to acheive perfection for other people. Plus I like seeing my "work" on my babies. It's not nearly as much fun for me if I'm just going to be mailing it off to someone i don't know. kwim.

And here I am hoping for a boy someday. Not that I ever want to be pregnant again, but having the baby in arms, somehow makes me want another in the distant future and makes it easy to forget how hard the pregnancy was. I'll probably end up with 4 girls though, if we ever do have another, we'll be "Little Women" with the dad off to war. Isn't that the way of life. Some people get all the little boys and some get all the little girls. My grandma had 7 boys in her quest for a girl. They gave up after the 7th boy.

I want another one too

But I would want to wait 3-6 years in between and that's SO not happening. Plus I am not capable of good mothering during pregnancy because I feel so awful. I've already done more for them this week with a newborn on the boob than I could do just a few weeks ago!!

What a beautiful family! The photos of you and your DH and the three girls are all great and the one where you are all seeing him off made me tear up.

The outfit you made for Piper is too adorable. Would you be willing to share the pattern you used?

Great pictures, Alisha. All your girls are adorable. I love the one of Piper and her daddy crashed out on the sofa.

She is adorable and looks like her sisters. Where did you get the brown outfit by the way? LOL

Seeing your hubby in uniform created a lot of emotion. (((((Hugs)))))

The outfit was inspired by the New Conceptions pattern that someone else on our ddc used to make several shirts for their babe. But I wanted a one peice outfit. So, after much looking for such a pattern and being unable to find one, I morphed the New Conceptions shirt pattern and a Kwik Sew pattern. That was my first try and I ended up having to add some elastic. I made 3 outfits total (the other two with the cutest toille knit that says "Hugga bebe with love" all over it, one in pink and one in blue with brown rib knit binding). Coincidentally, soon after I finished making those outfits, I got the newest Ottobre magazine (a German sewing magazine with patterns) in the mail and it had a crossover one piece baby outfit in it designed differently than the one I designed but still cute. I totally would have used that if it had been out when I was looking for a pattern. Oh well. So, that's the story on that.

your family is beautiful, Alisha. I think it's cute how your dh is holding piper and you can see his shirt says "new beginnings". I'm glad you all had a good visit.

Oh yeah! When you sent them I thought they'd go perfectly with that outfit I made. She's wore the hat several times too, it fits so well, better than most of the hats we have. But it's really not cold enough here most of the time for hats/coats, etc. The booties still dont' stay on too well. In another month, they'll probably fit much better, but I love them!

Wow, you're a sewing master! Piper's a beauty. Just gotta say I love the pic where she's sucking her thumb fiercely, like nobody's business.
