Oh Poppy, how scary.

I've been chased (or had them launch at me) by pitbulls several times while running, among other various dogs. Luckily they go straight for my dog first, so I'm somewhat safe.

No worries for her, she has aggression issues of her own and always puts them in her place... combine that with me getting in their face and screaming the usual "NO. YOU GO ON!" in my Mad Mama Bear mode, and they usually run away.

But I shake for miles afterwards!
I've also found lost dogs several times while running, and have luckily been able to reunite the dogs with the owners all but once. The one time I had to leave a voicemail and didn't have a leash was on my 20 miler before my marathon. He had tags, and was about 2 miles from home. I got him running with me in the right direction, and after a while he left the trail, so I hope he went home. It was a HOT day and he was all foamy at the mouth.. I worried about him the rest of the day.

:
Modmom - Good on ya!

Beth - For vomiting, is there a certain idea you are rejecting? Something you just can't "stomach"? For diarrhea, it usually equals fear, being too much in the future instead of the "right now", etc. Something to think about, at any rate.

I hope you feel better very soon!

Lofty - So glad you are sharing the snowman love!

PO7 - Have you tried highlands teething gel? If you aren't opposed to it, sometimes it can work wonders.
Eks - Pineapple casserole? That sounds... intriguing.

What else is in it?
Jaygee - I really think with TV it is all about moderation... Every now and then DD will want to watch a ton of TV one day, but I don't worry about it because after that she won't want to watch any for a week. Good for you on cutting back a bit.

I should really run outside in the freezing cold & ice with my dog today. But I really want to run on the TM and continue watching Bridge to Tarabitha instead.
