After weeks of bedrest, weekly sonograms, induction talk, and Thursday's false labor drama, Nathan Ronald came into the world on Friday, November 30 at 12:10pm. 5 lbs 12 oz and 18 1/2 inches at 39 weeks gestation.
There will be a much more detailed birth story to come, but it should be noted that after alllll the ridiculousness Nate came into the world au natural... outside the hospital...in the back of my father's 2001 Windstar minivan... and was caught by my extremely stunned DH. He did a great job and we're home resting.
Today is also the first anniversary of my mother's sudden passing. Its difficult, and I wish she could have met Nate. I know she would have been so excited.
